Mickie Sue Kraft, age 17, of Kiowa, Colo., died May 20, 2008, on her way to school.

She was born on April 26, 1991, in Hugo, Colo., to Mike and Pam Kraft. She lived in Limon, Colo., until the age of 2, when she and her family moved to Kiowa. Mickey Sue started kindergarten and continued to attend school in Kiowa for the next 12 years.

Mickie Sue loved all kinds of music and loved to sing. She had a kind heart and a loving nature. She would make a room light up when she would enterwith her greeting, a joke, or her radiant smile. She wrote poems, journals, and letters to, and about, everything in life that she loved. Mickie Sue loved and lived with all her heart.

Mickie Sue is survived by and will be dearly missed by a large and loving family: her father Mike and mother Pam; brother Lane and wife Kristen; sister Courtney and her fiance Josh, niece Aliceson and brother Brady. She is also survived by her grandparents, Jim and Lois Stone of Karval, Colo., Walter and Eunice Kraft of Grand Junction, Colo., and George and Pat Monks of Limon, Colo.; aunts and uncles: Kim and Kent Brogger; Doug and Connie Stone, Connie Plum, Ed and Linda Littleton, Don Kraft, Chuck and Jane Kraft, John and Sylvia Kraft, Barb and Jim Hecht, Peggy and David Cutter, Karen and Bob Shifflett, and Kathy and Udo Paerschke O’Brien; a number of cousins, and many, many friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 27, in Kiowa.
