Rocky Mountain Obituaries Continued

James A. Black, age 64, of Carpenter, Wyo., died March 15, 2008, at his home.

He was born on April 10, 1943, in Carpenter, to Arlie and Lucille Black.

James was a farmer all his life.

He is survived by one daughter, Jolene Leavitt, of Walport, Ore.; and two grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Lucille Goudie of Cheyenne, Wyo.; brother Dennis Black of Cheyenne; and two sisters: Elaine McCauley of Littleton, Colo., and Rita Kolkman of Cheyenne.

A private celebration of his life was held on on the Black farm.
