Long time Fort Collins businessman Harry Burke, 85 died, Dec. 31 at home. Burke and his wife Becky owned and operated Perry Upholstery in Fort Collins more than 52 years prior to retirement in 2016.
Born Nov. 4, 1933, in Rifle, Colo., to Jim and Ella Mae Burke, he was an Army veteran and enjoyed all things western including, ranching, rodeoing and roping.
He is survived by his wife Becky “Pete” of 60 years; daughters, Candy (Brian) O’Hanlon of Longmont and Chris (Jesse) Hobbs of Pueblo; grandchildren, Karlie (John) Tierney of Aurora, Conor O’Hanlon of Longmont and Casey Hobbs of Pueblo; great-grandchildren Julia and Sean Tierney of Aurora; brother, Jerry Burke of Rawlins, Wyo., and sister, Patty Burke of Rawlins; special family friends, Shirley Williams and Dan and Cindy Kerig; and numerous nieces and nephews.
