Photo story: Farmers market opens in Evans

Evans, Colo., launched a weekly farmers market June 4. The Thursday market operates 4-7 p.m. at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center located at 3700 Golden St. in Evans. Market manager Shelby Florio said the weekly gathering will include local farmers, artisans and crafters, food trucks and entertainment. The first week also included a book sale that went to support the library’s summer reading program.
