Aaron M. Betty, 28, of Hildreth, died May 31, 2011, at his home in Hildreth.

He was born on Aug. 1, 1982, in North Platte to Neil and Cynthia (Bauer) Betty.

They moved to Minden in 1994 and he graduated from Minden High School in 2001. He graduated from Central Community College in Hastings with a degree in diesel technology.



He worked for Nebraska Machinery Company in Doniphan and then worked for his father on the farm near North Platte. He was currently working for his uncle at Bauer Repair near Hildreth.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and hanging out with his friends. He especially enjoyed time with his niece and nephew, Makenna and Maverick.



Survivors include his mother, Cindy Oates of Minden; his father and stepmother, Neil (Judy) Betty of North Platte; brother, Justin (Lisa) Betty of Minden; two stepsisters, Kris (Scott) Morton of Lincoln and Shelly (Lanny) Miller of Shawnee, Kan.; and grandmother, Carolyn Bauer of Hildreth.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Allen and Naomi Betty and Carl F. Bauer; uncle, Craig Bauer; and cousin, Rikki York.
