Wynona E. Corbin, 86, of North Platte, died Sept. 9, 2010, at Centennial Park Retirement Village.

She was born Aug. 13, 1924, in St. Louis, Mo., to Russell and Minnie A. (Cellan) Dugan. She attended Dickens, Wallace and Sutherland schools.

On May 25, 1955, she married Archie Matlock. He preceded her in death in 1975. In 1983 she married Harold “Doc” Corbin. He preceded her in death in 1994.

She worked at the Swift Company, Ideal Linen and Master Cleaners.

She was a member of the Eagles, VFW, American Legion and the Church of Christ.

She was a talented seamstress; she crocheted and made ornamental dolls and cabbage patch kids. Wynona and her husbands loved to dance and they won many dance contests.

Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie M. (Larry) Merrill of Sutherland; son, Gerald W. (Bonnie) Matlock of Oregon; sisters, Jauneta Williams of North Platte, Rosa Baker of Kearney, Ida (Curtis) Ingels of North Platte, and Beverly (Donald) Lee of Madrid; brothers, Don Dugan of Lincoln, and Robert (Marie) Dugan of North Platte; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
