Plains Edition Recipes 2-25-12

1 lb. Hamburger

6 Potatoes

1 c. Milk

1 can Mushroom Soup

1 Onion

Salt and Pepper

Brown meat slightly and drain off excess fat. Place in bottom of baking dish. Slice onion and place on top. Cover with sliced raw potatoes and pour milk over the whole casserole. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees.

1 envelope Onion Soup Mix

2 lbs. Ground Beef

1 Egg

1/2 c. Bread Crumbs

1/4 c. Water

1/3 c. Ketchup

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Put into loaf pan or baking dish. Bake 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

1 Onion, chopped

1 lb. Ground Beef

2 c. Noodles

2 (16 oz) cans Tomatoes, chopped

1/4 c. Green Pepper, chopped

1/2 c. Chili Sauce

Saute onions and ground beef. Add the noodles. Pour chopped tomatoes on top. Sprinkle green pepper on top. Spoon on chili sauce. Bring to a boil. Turn to low and cook 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
