Plains Edition Recipes for 1-29-11

1 pkg. small marshmallows
1 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
1-1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water
2 c. flour
3 eggs
Grease a 9×13″ pan. Put a layer of marshmallows on bottom of pan. Bring to a boil 3 Tbsp. cocoa, brown sugar and 2 c. water. Pour over marshmallows. Beat the rest of the ingredients together and pour over mixture in pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
