Plains Edition Recipes for 3-19-11

From the kitchen of: Kay Bedlan, Lewellen, Neb.

3 oz. pkg. raspberry Jello

1 c. hot water



2 c. applesauce

leaf lettuce



apple wedges

Filling:

1 c. pineapple chunks

1 c. miniature marshmallows

1/3 c. walnuts, chopped

1/2 c. Miracle Whip

Dissolve Jello in hot water; then add applesauce. Stir well. Fill four 4″ molds. Chill until set. Unmold on leaf of lettuce. Fill centers with filling. Garnish outside molds with apple wedges.
