Plains Edition Recipes for 4-24-10

From the kitchen of: Sandy Walker, Papillion, Neb.

2 lbs. ground chuck

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

1/4 c. bread crumbs

1 egg, beaten

1/4 c. onion, chopped

1 c. mushrooms, sliced

2 Tbsp. chives

In large bowl mix beef, 1/2 cup soup, bread crumbs, onion and egg. Mix and shape into patties. Cook in skillet until desired doneness. In separate pan, cook remaining soup and mushrooms. Bring to low boil then pour over patties and serve.
