1 lb. hamburger, browned & drained

1 onion, chopped & cooked until tender

1/4 tsp. oregano

1/8 c. salad oil

1/4 tsp. garlic

Mix together and simmer 15 minutes. Cool then add 1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese. Chill 3 hours. Broil on French bread or buns and serve with salad.
