(4) pork chops

salt & pepper

1 tsp. caraway seeds

1/3 c. brown sugar

1 (no. 2) can sauerkraut

1 raw apple, sliced

1/4 c. onion, chopped

Brown chops in a little fat. Season with salt and pepper. Remove chops from pan and drain off the fat. Add sauerkraut, caraway seeds, brown sugar, onion and sliced apple. Mix together. Top with chops. Cover and let cook at low heat for 1 hour or until meat is tender, basting chops with juice in the pan.
