Potato Biscuits | Sharon Raasch – Imperial, Neb.
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Stir butter into potatoes.
Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk; add honey.
Mix baking powder, sugar and flour, adding milk as you go.
Press into 3/4-inch pad and cut biscuits.
Bake until bottoms start to brown, about 25 minutes.
