The programs each provide financial assistance for producers in case the prices for certain commodities drop. In order to quality through 2018, producers must enroll their farms in one of the two.
To enroll, producers need to make an appointment with the Weld County Farm Service Agency by calling (970) 356-8097, ext. 2. The commodities covered include barley, corn, flaxseed, grain sorghum, oats, peanuts, soybeans, sunflower seed and wheat.
