On July 21, the Colorado NRCS Field Office, along with the Eastern Colorado Research Station, Washington County Conservation District, Cope Conservation District and the Colorado Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative, will host a workshop titled “Rancher to Rancher Practical Grazing Management.” The workshop will be held at the Eastern Colorado Research Center north of Akron, Colo. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. The free workshop runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with lunch provided. Bob Budd will discuss how the cow herd, their performance and wildlife can be changed by mixing up grazing management.
