Rocky Mountain Favorite Recipes
1 (8 oz.) pkg Egg noodles
1 c. Sour cream
1 (3 oz.) pkg Cream cheese
6 Green onions and tops, finely chopped
1 lb. Ground beef
1 Garlic clove, crushed
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 t. Sugar
2 (8 oz. ) cans Tomato sauce
1/2 c. Cheese, grated
Dry red wine
Cook and drain egg noodles and place in flat buttered casserole dish. Mix sour cream, cream cheese, onions and tops. Pour cream mixture over egg noodles.
Brown ground beef in butter. Add garlic, sugar and tomato sauce; cover and cook for 20 minutes. Pour beef mixture over casserole. Moisten top with dry red wine and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
