Harry J. “Jim” Wooldridge, 72, of Loveland, Colo., passed away on October 12, 2009 at his home.

He was born on January 13, 1937, to Dearl Edward and Bertha Helen (Miner) Wooldridge, in Mountain Grove, Mo.

Jim graduated from high school in Coffeyville, Kan., in 1955. On September 21, 1956, he married Yvonne “Bonnie” McCormick in Palmer Lake, Colo.

Jim worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District for over 35 years, retiring in 2002. He also owned and operated Wooldridge Hog Farms and Cattle Company in Loveland since 1958.

He has lived in Loveland since 1957, moving here from Palmer Lake, Colo.

Jim was baptized in the 4th Street Baptist Church in Loveland in 1975. He loved hunting and fishing and was a huge supporter of the local 4-H Clubs and was active as a leader for 45 years. He was also an active supporter of Loveland High School Football. Jim was a member of the National Rifle Association, and was a very well respected member of the Loveland community. He loved his family, his chickens, and his dog, Bob.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne “Bonnie” Wooldridge of Loveland Colo., son, James D. Wooldridge, daughter Linda Nussbaum, adopted daughter Lonna Schneider and husband John, brother Dean Wooldridge and wife Beverly, all of Loveland, Colo.; grandchildren, Nikkie Wailes of Loveland, Colo., Shannon Shreve and husband Brett of Wellington, Colo., Seth Wooldridge and wife Nicole of Johnstown, Colo., Kelsie Wooldridge, Brandon Schneider and wife Jenn and Mariah Coldonato all of Loveland, Colo.; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held October 17, 2009 at First Christian Church in Loveland, Colo.

Cremation has been conducted.
