Rocky Mountain Recipes 11-30-09
2 lbs. Ground beef
2 (12 oz) cans Tomato sauce
2 (6 oz) cans Tomato paste
1 to 2 t. Italian seasoning
1 (8 oz) pkg. Wide lasagna noodles
2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Cottage cheese
1 (28 oz) can Whole tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash of garlic powder
Cook ground beef and drain. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, seasoning and a dash of garlic powder. Let mixture simmer while noodles are cooking. In a large baking dish, place a layer of noodles, a layer of sauce, a layer of Mozzarella cheese then a layer of cottage cheese. Repeat layers. Top with remaining cheese and sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
