Rocky Mountain Recipes 11-8-10

1/2 c. Shortening

1-1/2 c. Sugar

1/2 c. Molasses

2 Eggs

1-3/4 c. Flour

1 t. Salt

1 t. Soda

1 t. Cinnamon

2 c. Oatmeal

1-1/2 c. Raisins

3/4 c. Pecans, chopped

Cream shortening, sugar and molasses. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients and stir into mixture. Add oatmeal, nuts and raisins. Drop by small spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen.
