1 lb. Ground pork sausage

3 Tbsp. Bacon grease

1/4 c. Flour

3 c. Milk

1/2 t. Salt

1/4 t. Pepper

In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook sausage until evenly browned. Remove browned sausage, leaving drippings in the skillet. Mix bacon grease into sausage drippings. Reduce heat to medium and add flour, stirring constantly, until mixture turns golden brown. Gradually whisk in milk. When mixture is smooth and thickened, add browned sausage. Mix in salt and pepper.
