Rocky Mountain Recipes 5-16-11

1/2 c. Shortening

1 c. Sugar

2 Eggs

2 c. Flour

1/2 t. Salt

1/2 c. Cherry Juice

1/2 c. Nuts

1 (8 oz) jar Maraschino Cherries

1 t. Vanilla

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time. Add cherry juice, alternately, with dry ingredients to mixture. Add the remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
