Sen. Michael Bennet to speak in Fort Morgan
The Rocky Mountain Farmers Union and American Farmland Trust will host Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., and guests for a summit on agricultural opportunities in clean energy from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Country Steak-Out in Fort Morgan.
Speakers will describe renewable energy and conservation programs that agricultural producers can use to help clean energy boost their bottom line.
The public is welcome. Lunch will be served, so reservations are required by e-mail to bill.midcap@rmfu.org or by calling (303) 283-3528 by Aug. 31.
