Siera Zuellner is named February Aggie of the Month for NCTA
CURTIS, Neb. – Siera Zuellner of Campbell, Neb., has been named the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) Aggie of the Month for February. Zuellner was selected for her academic achievements, activities, and service.
Zuellner is pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture Production Systems. She is described as an excellent student who possesses a consistent and courteous attitude. She participates in classes and shows a strong interest in learning and applying the subject matter.
Zuellner serves as a Residence Hall Assistant in the Women’s Dormitory, and is a member of Student Senate and Women in Agriculture. She also volunteers as a Writing Consultant in the NCTA Writing Center.
After graduation, Zuellner plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and receive a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education. She wants to teach Vocational Agriculture in a high school and be an FFA advisor.
Zuellner’s advisor, Professor Terri Jo Bek said, “I predict Siera will be very successful in her choice of careers.”
Assistant Professor Eric Reed added, “Siera is smart, hardworking, and dedicated. She’ll be a great teacher. I hope she stays in Nebraska.”
