Tales from the O-NO Ranch

It hasn’t been, or so it seems, that long ago that I myself worked Mexican cowboys and farmhands on the Texas ranch that I managed. They were from old Mexico but had “green cards” which allowed them to come and work for a period of time. At the end of the season they headed South, all but one who was working on his permanent residency, and they returned again the following season.

Our present laws forbid illegal aliens, regardless of color or country, to enter the U.S. without proper documentation. Doesn’t matter. Nope, they come by the thousands every week and they come to stay. Some are good folks, hard workin’ folks looking for a better life for their families. Some are gangsters, smugglers, dope dealers and some are just along for the ride.

Our government seems not to care. I say that because of the unbelievable drama of two of our own border patrol agents now in prison for shooting an illegal drug dealer in the butt while he was fleeing back across the border. It’s my understanding that these two agents stopped a vehicle with SEVEN HUNDRED-THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of dope in it. The driver fled and ran towards the Mexican side of the river. He was said to have turned as if to shoot at the agents when they in fact, shot him in the rear. He escaped. Other agents were there and so was a supervisor. Thinking they had not hit their target, they were told they didn’t have to fill out any paperwork and to pick up their spent shell casings.

The drug dealer’s mother knew or was kin to (I’m not sure) a Border Patrol agent’s wife and she contacted her and told her that her son had been shot. A plan was developed to sue the U.S. for having agents that would shoot an unarmed fleeing man. I don’t know how the Border Patrol Agent whose wife helped to encourage this outrage fits into all of this. The Border Patrol agents that fired the shots believed the fleeing man had a gun and pointed it at them. What drug dealer comes without being armed and carrying that amount of dope? Our Justice Dept. found the slightly injured drug dealer, offered him immunity to testify against its own Border Patrol and claimed that these two agents had said that morning that they were “going out to shoot some Mexicans!” These two agents happen to be Mexican themselves.

The short way around the barn is our two border agents are now in prison for 10 to 12 years, the drug peddler was caught again before he testified against our agents and this time he was caught with a MILLION DOLLARS worth of dope and nothing was done to him. I believe that at this point his lawsuit of Five Million is still alive and well. Does that make you MAD? It should!

There is talk of this huge super highway that will run right through the middle of Texas and straight up to Canada, smack dab through the middle of America’s heartland. There will be an America where there will be free trade, commerce and no borders between Canada and Mexico. It’s crazy. We will lose our sovereignty, our culture and our country and all that it stands for. Gentle readers, we just can’t allow that to happen. We can’t. Some say we are fighting a war without weapons.

There is no war; our government is simple giving away our country to folks who many of could care less about assimilating into our society.

Stay on your toes, give this some thought and inform yourself about what is going on and if you agree with me, stand up and make yourself heard. I urge you!

Stay tuned, check yer cinch on occasion and I’ll c you.
