“Come over here and tell this lady what you do for the United States of America.” Eight soldiers, who were “the best of the best” stood before me. Dressed all in black, with black hats, chests stuck out, and chins held high they were an awesome sight. Two of the soldiers strode toward me in response to their First Sergeant’s command. Immediately Specialist Johnson and Specialist Wasserburger held out their hands and introduced themselves. I quickly discovered these soldiers to be as polite and easy going as they were professional. It didn’t take long for me to see they loved their job.
