Trump pauses tariffs on Mexico, Canada for 30 days
President Trump on Monday evening signed executive orders pausing previously announced plans to impose 25% tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada. after both countries agreed to take steps to try to stop the movement of fentanyl into the United States.
Additional 10% tariffs on Chinese products are still expected to go into effect, although there have been signals the United States and China are also in negotiations.
