UNC seeks gardening volunteers over summer

The University of Northern Colorado permaculture garden and WiseAcre farm project needs volunteers to garden and help grow food over the summer, according to a UNC news release.

“Rewards include fresh air, the satisfaction of seeing food grow and sharing in the harvest,” according to the release.

Anyone interested is asked to contact Richard Jurin, richard.jurin@unco.edu, or Kevin Cody, kevin.cody@unco.edu, in the environmental and sustainability studies program. A volunteer coordinator will work with your schedule in assigning times for you to volunteer, according to the release.
