Dames rocket is an escaped ornamental, biennial plant from the mustard family. This plant is on the “B list” requiring suppression. Over the years, it was included in a number of wildflower seed mixes which has aided in the spread of this plant into uncultivated areas. The purplish pink flowers have four petals. Dames rocket flowers from April through July. The shallow root system lends itself to pulling before the plant goes to seed.
