Western Slope Obituaries 11-16-09

Ronald O. Arnett, 76, of Clifton, Colo., passed away November 7, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center.

He was born on July 14, 1933 in Lewellen, Neb., to Travis and Bernice (Mead) Arnett. He graduated from Arthur High School in Nebraska and during that time met Kathi Kramer where fond memories of Christmas dinner at Aunt Opals, going to the movies and football games will always be cherished.

Ronald ranched and farmed all his life and had his own trucking business. He lived in Clifton with his wife and son, Charles since 1967 and the family raised Black Angus cattle for many years. Ron was always interested in airplanes and had his pilot’s license since he was 17 years old.



He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Arnett and son, Charles Arnett both of Clifton, Colo., and a sister, Sharon Bedell of Ft. Duchesne, Utah, and two nephews, Chad Bedell and Travis Bedell, both of Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Services were held November 12, at Martin Mortuary.



Interment was in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
