Virginia Pacheco, age 84, of Delta, Colo., passed away June 2, 2009 at home.

She was born December 28, 1924 in Trinidad, Colo., to Manuel and Conception Trujillo Valdez.

She was employed as a housekeeper for many years with Sundance Motel.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Delta.

Virginia lived in Delta all her life. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard, crocheting, embroidering and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons; Mike and Veronica Pacheco of Delta, Colo., Robert and Claudia Pacheco of Austin, Colo., Lance and Julie Pacheco of Austin, Colo., Tom Pacheco of Delta, Colo., four daughters; Florence Sisson, Alberta Pacheco, Roberta and Albert Sandoval, Kathy and Jerry Brown all of Delta, Colo., and a very special friend of the family Mary Jane Gonzales of Gypsum, Colo., one brother Jim Espinosa and one sister Lucy and Onofer Sanchez both of Delta, Colo., 10 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Services were held on June 5, 2009 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Delta, Colo. Burial was at Mesa View Cemetery.
