With her revolver firing, Cowboy Mounted Shooting expert Elizabeth Clavette played Annie Oakley during the Wild West Show at the 2019 National Western Stock Show. It wouldn't be NWSS Wild West Show without horses, and the audience was treated to equines of all sizes during Saturda's (Jan. 19) performance at the 2019 National Western Stock Show. Hearkening back to a time more than 125 years ago, the Wild West Show at the National Western Stock Show served up legends of cowboys, indians and buffalo soldiers, along with a helping of Mexican Charro traditions.
With appearances by Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, and even some cowpokes from Down Under, the crowd was treated to feats of horsemanship with generous sides of history and flair, all packaged in an entertaining style. ❖
