Want a beautiful landscape that you can maintain on less water than you do now? Come and join a workshop on Xeriscapes by Wanda Purdy at the Yuma Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Learn about the seven principles of Xeriscapes. Help reduce the water needed by your current landscape as well as the maintenance. Be introduced to plants that you may not be aware of as xeric plants. Create long blooming and colorful landscapes with these plants. Come and learn first hand about these plants from an experienced gardener who has been involved with xeriscape gardens and water-wise gardening for over twelve years. Add to your list of favorite plants that you can use to enhance or improve the quality of your landscape.
Please RSVP at the Phillips County Extension Office by Friday, Feb. 23.
Registration is $15. Make checks payable to Phillips County Extension Office. If you have any questions, please call (970) 854-3616 and speak with Linda Langelo.
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.
