House to vote on ag conservation bill

The House is scheduled to vote Tuesday on a bill to reduce barriers to amend the Agricultural Credit Act of 1978 to remove barriers to agricultural producers in accessing funds to carry out emergency measures under the emergency conservation program.

In his weekly schedule, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said the bill will be considered on the suspension calendar. The bill notes that the Senate passed it on March 24.
