The Weld County Cattlewomen have been serving their community for over 70 years through a variety of activities. Our purpose is the educate and promote about beef and beef production across the community. We do this through reading to school children with ag-related books, offering scholarships, sponsoring teachers for an agriculture week with the Colorado Foundation for Agriculture and the Colorado Ag in the Classroom. We also participate in Trunk or Treat where we passed out a 1,000 Beef it’s What’s for Dinner bags, participated in the Greeley Stampede Parade, Eaton Days, the Colorado State Univeristy Bull Sale, and much more. We also are part of the Colorado CattleWomen, the Eastern Colorado CattleWomen, and the American National Cattlewomen thus helping to increase our breadth of outreach.
