USDA announces enrollment period for Farmer Bridge Assistance
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced USDA is opening the enrollment period for the Farmer Bridge Assistance program for row crop producers from Feb. 23 to April 17.
Although Rollins had previously said farmers would get payments by the end of February, on Feb. 20 she said, “Producers who want to further expedite their payment, can apply online through the program website and could receive a payment in their bank account as early as Feb. 28, 2026.”
Pre-filled applications will be available online to producers who filed their 2025 crop acreage report for eligible commodities on time and who have an account on Login.gov, the federal government’s public account system.
Producers who have a Login.gov account can access and submit their pre-filled application from the Farmer Bridge Assistance Program website.
Producers can also request their pre-filled FBA application from their FSA county office.
