Ernst expected to announce she won’t run again

Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, is expected to announce Thursday that she will not run for re-election, CBS reported last week. 

Ernst’s expected decision has set off a wave of speculation among both Republicans and Democrats in Iowa.
