Larimer County Land Stewardship and Weed District offices move to The Ranch Complex

LOVELAND, Colo. — The Larimer County Land Stewardship and Weed District has relocated its facilities from Fort Collins to The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland.

Staff are available at the new location (off I-25 and Highway 34) to help residents control noxious weeds on their properties through a variety of services from herbicide sales to plant identification. Many of the services are free of charge, but customers should call ahead for an appointment.

Customer service hours are 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday-Friday, except holidays.

The Larimer County weed management program works to minimize the spread of noxious weeds to protect native plant diversity, wildlife habitat and agricultural values throughout the county. Services offered include:



  • Assistance with noxious weed problems, plant identification and weed management recommendations
  • Free site visits for those who live within the Weed District boundary
  • Herbicide sales
  • Cost-share programs that allow in-district landowners to receive reimbursements for herbicide applications, mowing and revegetation up to $1,000
  • Managing noxious weeds on roadside rights-of-way, including no-spray requests for areas adjacent to homeowners’ property
  • Noxious weed education, including community presentations and outreach
  • Enforcement of the Colorado Noxious Weed Act
