Easy Oven-Barbecued Beef Brisket

  • 2 ½ pounds beef brisket
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle cola-flavored carbonated beverage
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle chili sauce
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Place brisket, fat-side up, in a roasting pan. Combine cola, chili sauce, and onion soup mix in a small bowl; pour over brisket. Cover roasting pan.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 hours; uncover during the last hour.
